Engaging with the community is vital to strengthening our relationships with regional communities and is an integral part of our business. Staff are trained in the principles of The International Association for Public Participation (IAP2), a stakeholder engagement model that promotes the values and leading practices associated with involving the public in decisions that impact their lives. Our project teams and operational staff actively seek and value feedback from customers when making decisions that could affect them.
To enhance our understanding of what our communities value we facilitate the Goulburn Broken Waterwatch community water quality monitoring program and provide opportunities for communities to discover more about the services we provide via our community education program.
