Tendering policies and practices
Advertising
Generally, Tenders may be advertised in the Tenders section of the Melbourne Herald Sun on Wednesdays, and where appropriate, in other local newspapers on nominated days.
All tenders will appear on tenders.net. You will need to be a registered user of tenders.net to download Goulburn Valley Water tenders. Registration to tenders.net is free of charge.
Closing times and address for lodgement
Tenders shall close at the Corporation's Office, 104-110 Fryers Street, Shepparton by the advertised closing date. Tenders can also be submitted via email tenders@gvwater.vic.gov.au. A facsimile transmission summary of the Tender (comprising the Tender Form and completed Schedule) can also be submitted, providing; it is established that the Tender had been posted or despatched prior to the advertised closing time and is receipted at the Corporation's office no later than 5 days from the stated Tender closing time. The Corporation's fax number is (03) 5831 1467. The Corporation does not guarantee that its facsimile will be ready at any time and the Tenderer is solely responsible for the successful transmission of its Tender by facsimile prior to the close of the Tender.
Conditions of Tendering
The Tender must comply in all respects with the Conditions of Tendering forming part of the Tender or offer documents.
