The Northern District consists of 27 towns and 18 water treatment plants. Fourteen of these towns are also serviced by sewer.
Towns supplied with drinking water and wastewater services include: Cobram, Dookie, Kyabram, Merrigum, Mooroopna, Murchison, Nathalia, Numurkah, Rushworth, Shepparton, Strathmerton, Tallygaroopna, Tatura and Tongala.
Towns supplied with drinking water services only include: Barmah, Colbinabbin, Congupna, Corop, Girgarre, Katamatite, Katandra, Katunga, Picola, Stanhope, Toolamba, Wunghnu and Yarroweyah.
