Water Night is an annual event supporting stronger action on climate change and water awareness.

Individuals and households are encouraged to turn off all taps and running water from 5-10pm with the aim of improving water knowledge and helping people value water more.

From 5-10pm on Thursday 23 October 2025 avoid using your taps, showers, or running water.

With a little preparation it's simple to take part, but you'll be surprised to see how often you reach for the tap!
