Proposed Extension to the Mansfield Water and Sewerage Districts
21 February 2018
Goulburn Valley Water is currently proposing to undertake extension to the water and sewerage districts for the Mansfield area.
Areas included in the proposals are in the general vicinity of:
- Withers Lane, Dead Horse Lane, Maroondah Highway;
- Mt Battery Road, Reardon Lane;
- Stoneleigh Road, Highett Street, Rifle Butts Road, Monkey Gully Road, Tip Access Road;and
- Mansfield-Whitfield Road, Oaksford Drive, Donovans Way, Maple Tree Boulevard, Greenfields Way, Kate Court, Highlands Road, Jenny Court.
The proposal to extend the districts is to reflect where town water and sewerage services are currently available and where they would be expected to be provided in the future based on Mansfield Shire Council’s land zoning. Each district extension is not facilitating any current new works proposals and will not impact on town water or sewerage charges and tariffs applicable to properties within the affected areas.
Full details of the proposals and a copy of the plans showing the proposed districts are available for inspection, free of charge, at the Corporation’s Shepparton Operations Centre (during normal business hours), located at 60 Old Dookie Road, Shepparton (corner of Florence Street) and also below.
