Development and Construction Manual
The Development and Construction Manual has been
revised in 2009 to update the previous version launched in 2007.
New features of the Development and Construction Manual include:

GVW Product Manual linked to the City West Product Catalogue;
-
GVW Design Guidelines;
-
Revised SOI for water main shutdown requests and inclusion of a program
methodology;
-
Revised SOI for CCTV inspection of new sewer mains; and
-
GVW Guidelines for Pressure Sewer.
The 2007 version replaced the previous Land Development Manual, 1995, and
reflect the Melbourne Retail Water Agencies (MRWA) Edition of the WSAA Water
Supply and Sewerage Codes (2002).
An Information session was held with accredited consultants on 12 August 2009 in
Shepparton to launch the documents and discuss current development, design and
