Garden Entry Form We are seeking nominations for the 2009 Waterwise Garden Award. This year there are five categories.
The new garden categories are for gardens that are between six months and less than three years old. We are looking for a garden that has started to establish itself, it does not need to be completely finished, however it should be well on its way to realizing your vision for your garden. The established garden categories are for gardens three years and older. These gardens have realized the vision of your waterwise garden. The professionally landscaped garden category is for gardens that have been designed and/or developed by a professional landscape designer/gardener. These gardens must be completed and have been established for 12 months or more. The awards are open to all residential customers in Goulburn Valley Water’s region. All nominations will be independently judged on six criteria, plant selection and grouping, garden, design, watering systems, gardens management, water management and garden enjoyment. Whilst the first five criteria are essential elements in a waterwise garden, it is also important that the garden also provides enjoyment, satisfaction and pleasure to the residents. Entries close on Friday, 28 August, 2009. The winners and runner ups will be announced in October during National Water Week. Nominations must be submitted using the 2009 Nomination form and can be mailed to:
