Smoke Testing of Sewers in Kyabram 10 June 2009 Goulburn Valley Water customers in the vicinity of the streets listed below in Kyabram are advised that smoke testing of sewers will commence on 15 June 2009 and continue for approximately two weeks. Smoke testing of sewers involves a harmless substance, similar to theatrical ‘smoke’ and consisting mostly of water vapour, being injected into the sewer system. The ‘smoke’ assists to locate pipes and fittings that may allow storm water to enter into sewers. Customers will be notified directly if their properties are expected to be impacted by this investigation work.
