Air Scouring of Water Mains - Shepparton Reticulation System

Goulburn Valley Water is undertaking a program of water supply air scouring in its Shepparton water supply reticulation system commencing in November 2008 and finishing in April 2009. The works are scheduled to occur between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm.

Notices will be delivered to each individual property advising of the exact date of any interruption to water supply.

As a result of these works, random occurrences of turbid and coloured water may occur. Should instances of turbid or coloured water be experienced, customers should minimise water usage, particularly in washing machines, and contact Goulburn Valley Water. In these instances, the water, whilst discoloured, remains safe for drinking.

The works form part of Goulburn Valley Water’s commitment to providing high quality water to its customers.
