Sustainability Policy

Goulburn Valley Water provides water and wastewater services to domestic, commercial and industrial customers in the Goulburn Valley region.

The Corporation recognises that we exist in a global environment and we are committed to collaboratively working with our community to foster and shape regional development and resource management; taking account of environmental, social and economic factors.

We will achieve this through the following goals:

• Ensuring ongoing organisational relevance and effectiveness

• Ongoing improvement in business efficiency

• Minimising the environmental footprint

• Delivering integrated community benefits

For Goulburn Valley Water to operate sustainably, we will incorporate key business functions into an Integrated Management System to achieve sustainable outcomes.

Senior management will communicate this policy to our staff, customers and stakeholders and the policy will be available on Goulburn Valley Water’s internet site.
