Risk Management Policy

Goulburn Valley Water provides water and wastewater services to domestic, commercial and industrial customers in the Goulburn Valley region.

In accordance with our Sustainability Policy the Corporation is committed to continuous improvement, satisfying the needs of our customers and stakeholders identified in our Customer Charter through the effective management of our risks.

We will achieve this through the implementation of a Risk Management System, with hazard assessment and the development of controls and continuous improvement based upon the principles in the Australian Standard AS 4360.

We will continue to identify and evaluate our risks and shall sustainably mitigate significant risks, taking into account the social, economic and environmental costs/impacts.

Senior management will communicate this policy to our staff, customers and stakeholders and the policy will be available on Goulburn Valley Water’s internet site.
