Drinking Water Quality Policy

Goulburn Valley Water provides water and wastewater services to domestic, commercial and industrial customers in the Goulburn Valley region.

In accordance with our Sustainability Policy the Corporation is committed to providing a safe, cost effective and reliable drinking water quality which meets the requirements of our Customer Charter and regulators.

We will achieve this through the implementation of a Drinking Water Quality - Operations Management System, which embraces the concepts of:

• ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

• AS 4360 Risk Management

• Codex Alimentarius Alinorm – Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)

• NHMRC / ARMCANZ Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG)

We will strive for continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and updating our corporate water quality objectives and targets.

Senior management will communicate this policy to our staff, customers and stakeholders and the policy will be available on Goulburn Valley Water’s internet site.
