Water and Sewerage Tariffs

Goulburn Valley Water’s tariffs are based on the User Pays system.  Customers that have water and sewerage services available to their property are charged a standard rate for the provision of the services and an additional usage charge based on the volume of water measured by their property meter.

As of 1 July 2009, new water and sewerage services fees and volumetric (water usage) tariffs become effective. These tariffs are in accordance with the Essential Services Commission’s determination of Goulburn Valley Water’s 2008-2013 water plan. 

The 2009/2010 residential tariffs are outlined in the table below:

Please note that these tariffs are for Residential Customers within a town water supply or sewerage district.  For all other tariffs including information on Water & Sewerage Connection Fees, Developer & Landowner Fees, Trade Waste Charges and Miscellaneous Fees and Charges please refer to the 2009/10 Tariff Schedule.

Concessions

There is an annual State Government concession of 50% (up to $108.30 for water and $108.30 for sewerage) that applies to eligible Pensioners and Health Care Card holders.  For more information see our Concession link.
