Application for Concession

Concessions help improve the affordability of key services for low income households.  Goulburn Valley Water administers concession on behalf of the Department for Human Services in consultation with CentreLink and the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Full Fringe Benefit – Pensioner Concession

If you hold one of the following cards, you are eligible for concession on:-

• Water and sewerage service charges

• Water consumption

From 1 July 2009 concessions amounts will only appear on water accounts issued where a customer has registered their concession details with Goulburn Valley Water and your concession details match with Centrelink.

If you have not already registered your concession details please contact our Customer Accounts & Services department by phoning 1300 36 00 07 and provide our staff with the details of your concession card.

To receive the water and sewerage concessions:

• You must be the rate payer/owner of the property

• The property must be used for residential purposes only

• The property must be your principal place of residence

Please note:  The name and address must be the same as the name and address on the account.

How to apply

If you have an eligible concession card, please phone our Customer Service Staff on 1300 360 007 for verification and registration.  Alternatively you can bring your card into our head office at 104-110 Fryers Street, Shepparton.

If you hold one of the following cards you are not eligible for the concession listed above:

Concessions 2009/2010

The concession cap for a property that is billed for a single water or sewerage service is $108.30
