Stage 4 Water Restrictions remain for the Murray System

Goulburn Valley Water reminds all customers that Stage 4 water restrictions are still in place for towns supplied from the Murray System.  These towns include Barmah, Cobram, Katamatite, Nathalia, Numurkah, Picola, Strathmerton, Wunghnu and Yarroweyah.

Goulburn Valley Water’s Managing Director Mr Laurie Gleeson, said “At this point in time we are unable to ease restrictions for towns supplied from the Murray System”

“The allocation on the Murray system is still very low, at only 5%, and the situation for Murray Towns will be regularly reviewed as the season progresses”

“We would like to thank our customers for their understanding and compliance with the water restrictions during this difficult period,” said Mr Gleeson.
