Water Smart Garden + Homes Rebate Scheme

The Victorian Government, in conjunction with Goulburn Valley Water and other local water suppliers, is committed to helping you save water.

The Victorian Government, has launched the second phase of Water Smart Gardens and Homes. This phase provides the opportunity to save water and money inside the home. We are therefore offering Victorians a rebate on eligible water conservation products purchased and installed between 1 July 2006 until 30 June 2007.

Under the scheme, households can receive rebates for the following produces:

CORE OFFER  
     Grey water permanent tank system $500
     Rainwater tank (>600 litres) not connected for indoor use $150
     Rainwater tank (2000-4999 Litre) connected to toilet and/or laundry $500
     Rainwater tank (5000+ Litre) connected to toilet or laundry $900
     Rainwater tank (5000+ Litre) connected to toilet and  laundry $1,000
     Dual-flush toilet $50
     Water conservation audit (internal & external) $30
     AAA water-efficient shower rose $10

$30 when purchasing $100 worth of goods

     Flow control valve (must be 9ltrs per min. or better)

     Mulch

     Wetting/moisture agent

     Compost/mulch bin

     Moisture/rain sensor

     Garden tap timer

     Drip watering system/weep hose

     Trigger nozzle

     Temporary grey water diverter
