Environment Policy

Goulburn Valley Water provides water and wastewater services to domestic, commercial and industrial customers in the Goulburn Valley region.

In accordance with our Sustainability Policy the Corporation is committed to continuous improvement of our environmental performance, prevention of pollution and compliance with our legal obligations and other requirements.

We will work with our stakeholders, to achieve sustainable outcomes taking into account social, economic and environmental costs/impacts.

We will achieve this through the implementation of an environmental management system for the Corporation certified to the international standard for environmental management - ISO 14001, and by the regular review and update of our corporate environmental objectives and targets.

Senior management will communicate this policy to our staff, customers and stakeholders and the policy will be available on Goulburn Valley Water’s internet site.
