Community Education

Coordinate “Waterwatch” - a national community water monitoring program that assists the community to develop water monitoring projects that raise awareness of water quality issues and facilitates on-ground actions that lead to improvement of our waterways, and administer Goulburn Valley Water’s Water Conservation Education Project targets schools and the general community to raise awareness of the importance of the sustainable use of water – our most precious resource.

 

Information Technology

IT are responsible for managing the Goulburn Valley Water’s computer and communications resources to facilitate the efficient and effective dissemination of information throughout the organization, and for the development and implementation of strategic plans, budgets, policies and practices.  The work unit also provides technical support and advice to its internal customers at all levels within the Organisation.

Human Resources

Provide a contribution to the operational and strategic activities of Goulburn Valley Water by providing efficient and client focused HR services to all employees and external contacts including coordinating and undertaking recruitment activities, coordinating Learning & Development (training) activities, undertaking Human Resources reporting & benchmarking, being involved with Employee Relations/Industrial Relations and coordinating Payroll activities.
 

Occupational Health & Safety

Provide professional support by contributing to the achievement and delivery of the Safety program across Goulburn Valley Water including Monitor OH&S legislative and regulation compliance, performing risk assessments and developing and delivering safety action plans across the organization.

 

Knowledge Management

Provide professional support and assisting in the enhancement and development of information and knowledge services and promoting a knowledge sharing culture within the business.
