National Water Week

Water for Life, The Future is in Your Hands

National Water Week is an annual event in each State and Territory across Australia.  It encourages the community to get involved in Protecting and Conserving our precious water resources.

Free events are held throughout the Goulburn Broken Catchment during National Water Week. Events are organised to raise awareness of the need to value and conserve water as a precious resource that brings life and prosperity to our region.

The week is always overflowing with free community activities such as Boat Cruises, Canoe trips, Bike Rides, Wetland Walks, Bus Tours, Competitions for young and old and Artistic Performances.  It all comes to a head at the main event, the Awards Night, where children and community members are recognised for their contribution to the environment and environmental education in our region.
